The MCB Board of Directors met in August and decided to ask the band membership to donate $15 per member to help the band defrays its administrative expenses. The expenses include ASCAP/BMI performance licensing ($225), Association of Concert Band membership dues ($50), Arts Council of Greater Lansing dues ($50) and the Liability Insurance premium ($200).

This donation is voluntary and will not affect your membership if you decline to donate or are financially unable to pay. In lieu of this monetary donation we will be offering opportunities to volunteer your time or skills for tasks and projects for the 2010-11 concert season.
