Steve Burian is the former Band Director for the St. Ignace Area Schools and is currently completring his Master of Music degree in Band Conducting at Michigan State University under Professor John Whitwell. Steve has served as the conductor of the Junior Post Band in Battle Creek and is the current director of the East Lansing Kiwanis Community Band. He is also active as a French horn player, having played in community bands in Ann Arbor, Saginaw, Battle Creek, Mackinaw City and the East Lansing area, and is a current member of the MSU Symphony Orchestra and Wind Symphony, the Greater Lansing Symphony Orchestra and the Jackson Symphony Orchestra.
