John Campbell taught instrumental music at the high school level for 22 years. He was the director of bands at Roseville Carl Braeblic High School, East Lansing High School, and Traverse City High School. In 1992, John was voted the MSBOA Band Teacher of the Year by his colleagues. He also is an elected member of the American School Band Director's Association. His Traverse City bands performed numerous times at the Midwestern Conference on School Music in Ann Arbor. Now serving as general manager of Marshall Music in Traverse City, John remains active as a clinician for both marching and concert bands, as well as guest conductor for honors groups.
