Brian
Enabnit grew up in the great band tradition of Mason
City, Iowa, where he played euphonium and was a three year musician in the Iowa
All-State Music Festival. He was
principal euphonium in the Symphony Band at the University of Iowa, where he
received his Bachelor of Music degree in December of 1995. Mr. Enabnit taught middle school and high
school band in the Iowa public schools for 6 years before beginning graduate
study at Michigan State University. He
is currently pursuing Master's degrees in both music education and as a brass
specialist, plays principal euphonium in the Wind Symphony, and acts as the
head graduate assistant for student teaching in the music education
department. Throughout his career as a
musician and teacher, Mr. Enabnit has promoted balanced instrumental music
ducation, and has received numerous awards for his efforts. Mr. Enabnit currently resides in Lansing
with his wife, Debi, and newborn child,
Maxwell.
