Eric Lau


Eric Lau is a D.M.A. candidate and Graduate Teaching Assistant at Michigan State University where he studies with Joseph Lulloff, James Forger, Andrew Speight, and Branford Marsalis. He received his M.M. from M.S.U. in 1999 as a recipient of a Dean's Recruitment Fellowship. Before his studies at M.S.U., Mr. Lau graduated summa cum laude from Louisiana State University where he studied with Griffin Campbell. Mr. Lau has won the M.S.U. Honors Concerto Competition as well as taking second prize in the North American Saxophone Alliance Classical Performers Competition. He was also a National Finalist in the Music Teachers National Association Collegiate Solo Performers Competition.
