 The DeWitt Community Concert Band began in 1985 with an original membership of 13 musicians. Membership has grown to approximately 65 members representing a diverse group of professions and backgrounds. The band performs eight to ten concerts each year at DeWitt High School, area retirement homes, and other area functions.

There are no fees or auditions involved in joining the band. The DeWitt Community Concert Band prides itself not only in its fine musicianship, but also in its fun-loving and collegial approach to making music.
