Stacie Detgen is in her eleventh year of teaching instrumental music education and her sixth year at Charlotte Junior High School. She is a native of Buchanan, Michigan where she began playing the French horn in fifth grade. Stacie is a graduate of Michigan State University and has a Master of Music Education degree from VanderCook College of Music in Chicago. Ms. Detgen has been a member of the Greater Lansing Symphony Orchestra and the Lansing Concert Band and is in her twentieth year of membership with the St. Joseph (MI) Municipal Band. She is active in performing with the Brass Quintet and solos and participates in the Lawrence Avenue Methodist Church orchestra and brass choir in Charlotte.
